Agenda is pleased to be working with one of our top clients and due to project wins, have announced a new position and are seeking an enthusiastic integrated designer with a ‘can do’ approach to join the Creative Studio.




The candidate will need to have the vision to be able to buy into the needs of the company, and love what they do.

Personality is also important, you must have drive and ambition.

The major part of this role is graphic design for screen and print, with some cross-over into interactive digital formats, video, animation and illustration work. This varied role provides ample room for growth and would suit a creative designer looking to develop by leveraging solid graphic design experience across integrated formats.

Essential to the role is the ability to take a creative brief, digest the content and context and to then put forward and produce an appropriate creative solution that addresses clients’ specific data visualisation and communications objectives.

The ideal candidate will have commercial awareness and experience working in a creative agency  environment. They should be comfortable proactively promoting the Creative Studio’s skills and services to internal and external clients.

Our client is a successful Hertfordshire based business to business creative marketing agency, who are continually pushing the boundaries of design in order to ‘wow’ our customers. Although small, they have a highly experienced team of marketers with an ambitious business plan to be the number one creative marketing company for the manufacturing and engineering services sectors.

The role.

This is an amazing opportunity for a talented integrated designer. You'll get to work on brand identities, websites, emails, digital media, marketing communications and creative campaigns for a wide variety of medium-sized to corporate companies across engineering, manufacturing and building services sectors for both UK and international brands.

The experience we need.

The successful applicant will have a mix of digital and offline design experience. Quality and passion should shine throughout your portfolio. The ideal designer will have some design experience of corporate communications, internal communications or similar. Your portfolio will also demonstrate your skill and understanding of brand and great typography. We will require:


•             Minimum of 5 years’ experience working across print, digital and branding

•             Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite

•             HTML, CSS and Javascript

•             Excellent experience in layout design, website design and strong typography and artwork skills

•             Exceptional portfolio showing fully integrated design work

•             Ability to formulate designs efficiently, confidently and always at a high standard

•             Happy to work across various platforms – print, brand, campaign, communications, web and mobile applications

•             Ability to think quickly on your feet, solving design challenges

•             Have an incredible eye for detail and attention across typography, design and layout

•             Enjoy working collaboratively as well as individually with little supervision

•             Creative designer who can produce innovative and intuitive ideas that always consider brand and brief

•             Able to engage with the team on a conceptual level, brainstorming sketching and verbalising ideas

•             Self-motivated with the ability to work and make decisions independently

•             Must be intelligent, eager and passionate about producing high-end design for all marketing channels




Main duties and tasks

•             Generating creative concepts, through to production and delivery of end outputs

•             Project management: Taking a creative brief, advising on suitable outputs, costs and timings

•             Managing workload, prioritising projects and delivering to deadlines

•             Promoting personal and Creative Studio’s capabilities

•             Project administration: file management, recording time spent and billing for direct costs

•             Bringing fresh ideas, skills and creative perspective into the work we produce


Although a minor element of the role, working knowledge of PPT and willingness to engage with this software to produce external pitches is required.

Working hours are 9am-6pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 5pm Friday
